For the celebration of Romania’s National Day and Centennial, the Men’s Choir and the Orchestra of the Transylvania State Philharmonic was invited by the Embassy of Romania in Italy and Accademia di Romania to perform a concert in Sinopoli Hall at Auditorium Parco della Musica (November 28, 2018). Under the baton of principal conductor Gabriel Bebeşelea and featuring Romanian mezzosoprano Ruxandra Donose, the programme included Béla Bartók’s Romanian Dances, Sigismund Toduţă’s Concerto No. 1 for Strings, three songs by Nicolae Bretan (arranged by Dan Variu) and Sabin Păutza’s Dances II.
