The main venue where the Transylvania State Philharmonic’s concerts take place is the Auditorium Maximum Hall of the Academic College, located at Emmanuel de Martonne Street, no. 1 (corner with M. Kogălniceanu). Some events, however, may take place in other locations around the city, depending on the specifics of the programme or the project in question; details about the venue and exact address can always be found in the description of each individual event.
Ticket prices vary depending on the type of concert and the category of seat chosen. For extraordinary and symphonic concerts, three price categories are available – 120, 90, and 70 lei respectively, with reduced rates for Categories II and III. Chamber concerts have a single price category, also with a reduced option, while educational concerts have a single fixed-price ticket of 15 lei.
You may take photographs before or after the performance, but please refrain from photographing the Orchestra during the concert, as this can be disruptive both to the musicians and to other members of the audience. If you share photos on social media, don't forget to tag us. Audio or video recordings of the music are not permitted.
There is no dress code for our concerts, except for those performing on stage. Please come as you feel comfortable, jeans and sneakers are perfectly acceptable, but if you'd like to dress up, you're welcome to do so as well
